I was commissioned to undertake a photographic shoot by the European Commission based in Munich for their marketing material and online websites. I had a set budget for the shoot and a specific focus set out by the EC. The timeframe was around 3 months so more than enough time to prepare. The pictures would be taken in Munich and Stuttgart. In Munich I opted for the Olympic Park and the “Friedensengel” in the city and in Stuttgart we would be shooting outside the parliament buildings. Alexia Aston was my make-up girl/stylist for the shoot and she proved extremely helpful.
The models were chosen by myself through various agencies and websites which proved to be the toughest part of the job. I also chose and presented the motives to the European Commission which they were more than happy with. The overall aim was to highlight the EC is for the people as an information resource and also to highlight that the EC is based not only in Bavaria but also Baden Wurttemberg.
The shoot proved to be a great success and was enjoyed by all who took part.
